Job Description

YITTY is currently looking for a Senior Social Media Manager.

How Do You Fit In?

YITTY is seeking a strategic, culture-savvy Senior Social Media Manager to lead our organic social media presence and shape our brand's public image. This role involves developing and executing content strategies across all social platforms to enhance brand awareness, foster community, and boost engagement.

Reporting to the VP of PR & Brand Partnerships, the ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They should understand social media's power in storytelling, community building, and cultural relevance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the strategy and execution of a comprehensive, cross-platform content plan to support brand awareness, social growth, and business goals.
  • Managing the content calendar across platforms, mainly Instagram and TikTok, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign timelines.
  • Mentoring the Social Content Coordinator to produce innovative content and develop community engagement strategies.
  • Defining the brand’s tone of voice and visual identity on social media to keep it fresh, inclusive, and culturally relevant.
  • Collaborating with internal teams in Marketing, PR, Creative, and Legal to support broader initiatives.
  • Driving talent-centered campaigns with PR and Influencer teams around key celebrity and influencer moments.
  • Staying ahead of platform trends, emerging technologies, and cultural moments to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Establishing social media governance standards to ensure content consistency and brand integrity.
  • Managing organic boosting on Instagram to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Tracking performance metrics and providing regular reports with insights for improvement.
  • Contributing to thought leadership on social trends and digital innovation.
  • Supporting real-time engagement and social listening to respond to community moments.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of social media experience, including channel strategy, content creation, and campaign planning.
  • Proven success in building and growing social-first brands, especially in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer categories.
  • Deep knowledge of content performance metrics, platform best practices, and analytics tools.
  • Experience working with creators, talent, and influencers in a collaborative, digital-first setting.
  • Strong creative instincts with an eye for design, copy, and tone that appeal to Gen Z and millennial audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude, adaptable to change, and eager to evolve with the brand.

Location:

  • This role is based at our El Segundo headquarters.

The annual base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and other factors.
