Job summary

Tennis Channel is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to own strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X from our Santa Monica, CA office. Translate the Head of Social's strategy into platform-specific plans, oversee creative direction, campaigns, reporting, and community/UGC management.

You will work with the video team on cross-functional content, coordinate with paid media, and stay ahead of platform changes and trends to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in social media management with at least 2 years managing direct reports.
• Demonstrated track record of driving channel growth — not just publishing operations.
• Strong analytical and writing skills — must compile data into an executive narrative weekly with a clear point of view.
• Hands-on experience coordinating with paid social teams or agencies, and partnering with PR or influencer programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead live crisis response on social and to manage deadlines under live event pressure.
• Sports, live news, or entertainment social experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and quarterly plans for IG, FB, TikTok, and X with editorial pillars and calendar.
• Oversee content production to maintain premium brand voice and visual standards.
• Lead social campaigns across channels and maintain the Master Cross-Platform Content Calendar.
• Author weekly and monthly executive reports and translate data into action.
• Manage community engagement and UGC program with clear rights/usage processes.
• Stay ahead of trends and run platform-feature tests with learnings applied to the strategy.
