Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated technical engineer for the Tegra SoC software organization. You will design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation ARM-based SoCs across pre- and post-silicon phases, driving performance improvements and architecture analyses.

The role requires leadership, hands-on experience with complex hardware/software systems, and strong proficiency in performance and data analysis to achieve performance/watt leadership.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or related).
• 6+ years of relevant computer architecture or software development experience.
• Proven leadership skills and strong ownership on past projects.
• Hands-on technical experience in an environment with complex software and hardware designs.
• Strong understanding of multicore hardware, OS design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers and real-time programming.
• Strong skills in performance analysis, data analysis and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation SoCs in pre- and post-silicon phases.
• Review architectural performance bottlenecks and drive performance/energy efficiency improvements.
• Prepare architecture analyses and communications for internal/external audiences.
