Senior SoC Power Analysis and Optimization Engineer

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs, as part of Amazon Web Services (AWS), is looking for talented engineers to help us develop a semiconductor platform based on a revolutionary architecture. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge in chip design with excellent problem-solving abilities and collaborative skills.

Key job responsibilities

1. Analyze SoC Power consumption at Pre and Post Si stages
2. Contribute to SoC Power optimization during all stages of Design Cycle
3. Work with variety of teams to impact the quality of SoC power efficiency: Logic & Physical Design, PDN, Post-Si.
4. Optimize Power Team analysis processes to raise effectiveness of our work.
5. Solve challenging problems at daily basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
2. 8+ years of experience in at least one of the following domains: Power analysis and optimization, Logic design, Backend design, Chip Verification.
3. Deep understanding in the domains of your previous expertise and a sound understanding of overall chip design cycle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Ability to handle multidisciplinary tasks that require knowledge in different chip design domains.
2. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with other teams to complete tasks.
3. Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, Python, Perl.
4. Team player, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
