Job summary

OTSI (Object Technology Solutions, Inc) is seeking an experienced Layout/Mask Designer 5 for an onsite role in California. You will develop and implement physical design solutions for SoC devices, starting from RTL and netlists, guided by engineering constraints.

Responsibilities include floor planning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure and physical verification to ensure performance, power, area, and manufacturability targets are met.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience in physical design for SoC
• Performs floor planning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure and physical verification
• Analyses design quality and verifies layouts meet performance, power, area and manufacturability requirements
• May review physical design methodologies, validate implementation flows and support tape-out activities

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements physical design solutions for SoC devices from RTL, netlists and constraints provided by engineering teams
• Implements floor planning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure and physical verification
