Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior SOC Engineer to lead the design, engineering and deployment of security event data collection across SIEM platforms.

You will drive use-case development, dashboards, and reporting metrics to enable effective detection and alerting for enterprise security operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 4+ years as a Cyber Security/SOC Engineer.
• 4+ years in Cybersecurity/IT practitioner experience.
• Hands-on experience with security principles, host configurations and networking.
• Experience with logging, SIEM, and incident response environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement security event data collection for SIEM platforms.
• Develop use cases, dashboards, and reporting metrics; tune to minimize false positives.
• Lead incident response workflows using SOAR technologies.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and security infrastructure health and capacity.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security operations and detection capabilities.
• Support SOC analysts and provide escalation as needed.
