Zimperium in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. SOC Engineer to own Google SecOps end-to-end, architect log ingestion, and author threat detection rules. You will drive automated triage and incident response, integrating CNAPP with security workflows and leading investigations.

This hands-on role requires independent execution, strong SIEM expertise, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, threat detection, or incident response.
• Hands-on with major SIEM platforms and detection engineering.
• Experience authoring threat detection rules and tuning.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own Google SecOps platform end-to-end, including alert routing and automation.
• Architect log ingestion, detection rules, and incident response workflows.
• Lead investigations for high-severity incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Security, and Product Security teams.
• Integrate security tools via APIs and SOAR platforms.
• Define SOC KPIs and build dashboards for leadership.
