Job summary

Evans & Chambers Technology seeks a Senior SOC Business Analyst to drive requirements elicitation for 24x7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response within a DoD-focused environment. You will translate mission needs into validated, testable requirements and maintain traceability across architecture, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of business or systems analysis experience, with 5+ years in federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments.
• CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, or CISSP required.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation for SOC, translating mission needs into validated requirements.
• Ensure traceable baselines linking requirements to design and verification.
• Collaborate with SOC Program Lead and Technical Architect on scope, cost, and schedule decisions.
• Prepare requirements content for leadership briefings and acquisition documents.
• Validate feasibility, clarity, and testability of each requirement before baselining.
• Plan interviews, workshops, and site visits to capture current and future SOC needs.
• Develop CONOPS inputs, use cases, user stories, and SOC playbook requirements.
• Maintain RTM linking requirements to sources, design, and verification methods.
