Job summary

Collaboredge Inc. is seeking a SOC Analyst - Tier 3 to provide technical oversight for a team of SOC Analysts. You will monitor, detect, analyze, remediate, and report on cybersecurity events impacting the Government of the District of Columbia’s infrastructure.

The ideal candidate combines advanced incident handling, threat discovery, and runbook development to reduce false positives and improve response times across enterprise networks and host systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or related area with minimum five years of operational experience in cybersecurity incidents and response.
  • In-depth understanding of threats, attacks and countermeasures including DDoS, phishing, ransomware, botnets, and C2 activity.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, DLP, DAM, web/email filters, and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
  • Develop technical applications to support users.
  • Develop, enforce standards and procedures for system design and documentation.
  • Provide training for system products and procedures.
  • Perform application upgrades and monitoring of real-time data.
  • Troubleshoot problems and ensure compliance with district standards.
