Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in information technology or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Prior performance in roles such as ISSO or ISSM.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Level 2 information assurance technician requirements within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24×7×365 monitoring and analysis of potential threat activity.
• Conduct security event monitoring, advanced analytics and response activities.
• Support DoD SAPs and SCI/SAP activities.
• Lead incident handling, hunting and malware analysis.
• Analyze IT security events to distinguish incidents from non-incidents; perform triage, investigation, countermeasures and response.
• Work with SIEM/log management tools to collect, analyze, correlate and alert on logs.
• Understand OS and networking fundamentals; coordinate with DOD and industry partners.
