Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to monitor and respond to alerts in a SIEM, investigate incidents, and safeguard US Court systems. The role requires 6+ years in SOC, strong log/pcap analysis, and hands-on Splunk/SIEM expertise. This 6-month contract is 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, with W-2 terms and competitive compensation.

Applicants should have BS preferred and Security+/CySA+/CEH/CISSP/GCIH certifications are a plus. U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in a SOC environment.
• Experience with intrusion detection analytics and log/packet analysis.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools, Splunk, and Snort-based events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts in SIEM and assist customers.
• Investigate incidents and recommend actions to safeguard systems.
• Read and interpret logs and network traffic to create narratives.
