Critical Start, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join our 24x7 MDR team in Plano, TX. You will triage MDR alerts, analyze events, and coordinate rapid, effective response actions to mitigate threats.

Strong communication with clients and SMEs across multiple security platforms is essential. As a SME on our platform, you will leverage EDR, SIEM, and Defender/CrowdStrike tooling to drive accurate escalations, build playbooks, and support high-severity incidents with careful

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of SOC tenure on shift work.
• Security+ certification or equivalent required.
• Proficient with EDR, SIEM and security platforms.

Responsabilités

• Initial triage of MDR alerts and investigations.
• Analyze events, alerts and threat intel data.
• Recommend and implement response actions with supervisor approval.
• Review escalations for accuracy and grammar before sending to customers.
• Create and review playbooks and automations in MDR SOAR.
• Communicate with clients during high severity investigations.
• Navigate the ZTAP console and assist customers and analysts.
