Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field with 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience developing security automation or orchestration solutions.
• Strong Python scripting and development skills.
• Experience with JSON and REST APIs; integration with security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SOAR playbooks and automation workflows.
• Develop integrations between the SOAR platform and security technologies using REST APIs and Python.
• Automate repetitive security operations and incident-response activities.
• Create workflows that enrich security alerts with contextual information.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop custom automation when pre-built capabilities do not meet needs.
• Optimize playbooks and integrations for reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex automation, API, integration, and workflow issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for playbooks, scripts, integrations, and mappings.
• Participate in peer reviews, testing, and quality-control before production.
• Follow secure development practices and continuously improve automations.
• Identify opportunities to improve or simplify security processes.
