Galent is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer/Lead to design, build, validate and maintain scalable Snowflake data pipelines that support compliance requirements. You will optimize data models, develop ETL processes with IICS, and collaborate with data scientists and IT to deliver robust data solutions.

The role emphasizes security controls, encryption, performance tuning, and ongoing improvement of the data infrastructure with offshore/on-site coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Snowflake implementation and data modeling experience.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize data pipelines for compliance needs.
• Experience with ETL development using IICS or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Cloud data architecture and governance controls.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, validate and maintain scalable Snowflake data pipelines.
• Develop ETL processes to load data into Snowflake from multiple sources.
• Configure Snowflake features like clustering and materialized views for performance.
• Ensure data processing complies with security controls and encryption requirements.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and IT teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Create documentation for data models, pipelines and compliance procedures.
• Provide support, troubleshoot data issues and assist end-users as needed.
• Stay current with Snowflake features and best practices; coordinate offshore/on-site tasks.
