Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Data Engineer on a contract basis with a strong Snowflake background to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses. You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet data requirements and ensure data quality across processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of data engineering experience, expert SQL, experience with ETL tools, and knowledge of cloud data services.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Snowflake expertise including modeling and performance tuning.
• Proficient in SQL and data transformation tooling.
• Experience with cloud data services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and document data architecture.
