Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer in Atlanta to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions using Snowflake.

Must have 8+ years in data engineering and 5+ years on Snowflake, with strong SQL and Python development. Responsibilities include building data warehouses, ETL/ELT workflows with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory, and orchestrating data pipelines via Airflow or Informatica.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and enterprise data solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in SQL and advanced SQL analytical functions.
• Snowflake Data Warehouse design and development.
• SQL Query Performance Tuning and Optimization.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Services.
• Workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Atomic.
• Metadata Management and Data Lineage.
• Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and optimize data warehouses, data models, and data pipelines.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and analytical functions.
• Write Python scripts for data processing, transformation, and automation.Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and manage data orchestration workflows using Airflow, Informatica, or Atomic.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance and reduce processing time.
• Work with Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, warehouses, stages, and data loading.
• Implement data integration and transformation processes across multiple source systems.
• Maintain metadata, data lineage, and data governance standards.
• Use Git for source control and collaborate through Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, performance issues, and data quality problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.
