Blockedge Technologies Inc. in Minneapolis seeks a seasoned Snowflake Developer to design, implement, and optimize our cloud-based data warehouse solutions.

You will lead data engineering efforts, collaborate with analysts and data scientists, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data delivery. The role requires deep Snowflake expertise, strong SQL and Python, and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 9–10+ years in data engineering/architecture with 4–5+ years Snowflake expertise.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures.
• Develop efficient data models to support analytics, BI, and reporting needs.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools.
• Ensure performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver solutions.
• Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
