You will own governance, security, and optimization across development, test, and production environments, partnering with data engineering, analytics, and cloud teams to enable

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform roles.
• 4–5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience spanning architecture and administration.
• Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Advanced SQL; Python experience preferred.
• Experience designing and operating ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake security and governance features.
• Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Bash, Terraform, or similar tools).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Snowflake architectures for data warehouse, data lake, and data sharing use cases.
• Define and implement governance features and security controls.
• Own day-to-day administration of Snowflake environments across development, test, and production.
• Monitor performance, optimize capacity, and manage costs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and product partners to translate requirements into solutions.
• Enable advanced analytics and Cortex AI capabilities within Snowflake.
