Job summary

ALIS Software LLC is seeking a Senior Snowflake Developer for a long-term contract in Boston, MA. You will design and deploy scalable cloud-based data solutions on Snowflake and Azure, lead ETL implementations, and guide data modernization efforts.

You will act as a technical authority on complex projects, drive performance optimization, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver enterprise analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, systems architecture, or technology consulting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Snowflake data platform, including data warehouse design, ETL implementation, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated expertise in Azure or equivalent cloud platforms including IaC, security, and cost optimization.
• Strong background in relational and non-relational database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable cloud-based technology solutions using Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in ETL tools such as Fivetran or Estuary.
• Provide technology consulting and strategic guidance on digital transformation and data modernization initiatives.
• Architect and oversee implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Lead technical assessments and identify technology optimization opportunities.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and third‑party implementation partners.
• Develop technical standards and best practices for data management and cloud infrastructure.
• Support business case development for technology investments and initiatives.
