Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms centered on Snowflake and AWS. You will define target-state architectures, migrate from SSIS/SQL Server, and enable advanced analytics, AI, and BI capabilities.

The role requires deep Snowflake, AWS, Talend, Streamlit, and Cortex experience, plus governance-focused design, secure data sharing, and scalable patterns. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Cloud Platforms, or Enterprise Analytics.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, data modeling, performance optimization, security, and governance.
• Strong experience migrating legacy SQL Server and SSIS environments to Snowflake and cloud-native data platforms.
• Hands-on with Snowpipe, Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Streamlit, and advanced Snowflake capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services supporting data platforms, analytics, integration, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale cloud data architectures leveraging Snowflake, AWS, Talend, Streamlit, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Cortex Analyst capabilities.
