Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Validation Engineer to lead validation planning and testing for snow vehicle platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and durability throughout development.

You will partner with product, systems, and test teams to define validation strategies, execute lab and field testing, and deliver insights on vehicle readiness. Travel up to 10% and a strong data-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of validation, testing, or product development experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing tools such as AIM or Edaq.
• Experience in test planning, development, coordination, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for assigned snow vehicle programs.
• Define test procedures, pass/fail criteria, and equipment required to validate vehicle and system performance.
• Coordinate and execute component and vehicle-level validation activities with cross-functional teams.
• Establish reliability and durability test targets aligned with vehicle requirements.
• Lead validation processes to ensure performance, driveability, and certification requirements are achieved.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using appropriate data acquisition and analytical tools.
• Ensure data integrity and technical accuracy across all validation and testing activities.
• Report validation status, results, and conclusions to project teams and leadership.
• Support field testing, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities.
• Improve existing and develop new testing methods and procedures as needed.
