Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Subject Matter Expert II to support the DOE-EMCBC at Bettis Atomic Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA. The role requires recognized expertise in a field aligned with DOE codes and standards, including project management, design, and decommissioning knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft Word proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, science or relevant technical field.
• 20+ years of experience in Project Management Support.
• Experience in communicating with all levels of staff and contractors.
• U.S. citizen required.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct daily tasks to support ongoing design.
• Construction, startup and/or operations/maintenance of complex high tech systems.
• Render opinions on engineering, management, and technical issues.
• Provide recommendations to project design and construction teams in areas of expertise.
• Provide independent reviews and assessments in specialized areas.
• Guide project teams to deliver results.
• Enforce work standards and schedules; review work quality.
• Communicate goals and policies to staff.
• Coordinate with functional organizations.
• May supervise entry-level personnel.
