Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnographic studies, score data, and assist in therapy planning for patients with sleep disorders. The role includes supporting physicians and preparing data for interpretation.

The incumbent will train new technicians and contribute to onboarding. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and familiarity with sleep equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• BRPT registration and Medical Board of California as a Polysomnographic Technologist are required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• 2+ years as an RPSGT; 3+ years of direct patient care in sleep disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies to diagnose disorders and determine therapy.
• Record and score sleep data; prepare data for physician interpretation.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new sleep technicians and trainees.
