Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Senior Sleep Technician to support the Sleep Disorders Center. The role entails leading sleep studies, scoring PSGs, and generating reports under supervision of the medical director and chief technologist.

Responsibilities include team leadership during shifts, maintaining high QA on studies (90–100%), and handling CPAP/BIPAP titrations with patient safety as a priority. Minimum BRPT registration and 3 years in a sleep lab required.

Competenze

• High School with training in sleep technology sufficient to lead to BRPT registration eligibility.
• Registered Polysomnographic Tech (R PSG T) through BRPT; BLS required.
• Understands polysomnographic instrumentation and basic recording principles; able to lead and score sleep studies.

Mansioni

• Satisfies BRPT registration requirements within defined time frames.
• Scores PSG, MSLT, MWT and HST studies following AASM guidelines.
• Generates preliminary reports per department standards.
• Acts as lead technologist on shifts when designated, ensuring workflow efficiency and patient safety.
