Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform sleep studies, score data, and assist in diagnosing sleep disorders. You will work closely with patients to determine therapy options and prepare data for physician review.

The role includes mentoring new staff and ensuring high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate has BRPT registration, BLS, and 3+ years of direct sleep care experience, with California licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• BRPT registration and Medical Board of California as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Computer skills relevant to the job.
• BLS required.
• Associates degree or equivalent education.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders and record/score sleep data.
• Collaborate with patients to diagnose and optimize therapy.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new sleep technicians and trainees.
