Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a Principal Scientist to lead the Skin Health Group’s PCA Skin Implementation R&D team, delivering innovative dermocosmetic products for aestheticians and dermatologists in anti-aging and regeneration pillars.

You will oversee a case study program, drive documentation and tech transfer, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure successful product delivery and market readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related).
• 8+ years of experience in developing and commercializing skin care products.
• Strong project planning, collaboration and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality and implementation standards for personal care products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new skin care products and technologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams for concept development and commercialization.
• Manage a case study program for efficacy data, substantiation, and benefit support.
• Create and maintain documentation such as Project Timelines, SOPs, Registration documents, Tech Transfer checklists, NODs, Change Control documents, Technical Justifications, Formula Databases, and Claims support trackers.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, insights, clinical, safety, regulatory to develop and validate new concepts and products.
