Job summary

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation in Jacksonville seeks a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join the Analytics and Technology Team. You will lead forensic data analysis to identify and support investigations into insurance fraud, including organized rings, using SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools.

The role requires strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills, plus experience transforming large data volumes into actionable intelligence for P&C fraud investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; 6+ years of quantitative data analysis experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R) is required.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data gathering and ad hoc query and data mining for fraud investigations.
• Reconciles and analyzes complex data sets to detect fraudulent trends and patterns.
• Creates independent analyses and data visualizations to inform investigations.
• Collaborates with SIU, Claims, Underwriting and Analytics to convert findings into actionable leads.
• Develops statistical/predictive models and applies algorithms to identify fraud indicators.
• Participates in fraud awareness training and supports technology evaluations for SIU operations.
• Researches and recommends software and internal solutions to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
