Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Sitecore Developer for a 12-month contract in Richardson, TX (hybrid - 3 days onsite). The ideal candidate will lead development of client marketing websites and internal apps using Sitecore XP/SXA, with headless Next.js integrations.

Required are 5+ years with Sitecore, strong API-first experience (REST/GraphQL), and Azure PaaS deployment familiarity. Collaborative, proactive contributors who align with agile teams will thrive.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Sitecore XP, including SXA, Helix, Scriban templating.
• Strong understanding of Sitecore architecture and databases.
• Experience integrating with Coveo, Marketing Automation platforms, CDPs, CDNs, and enterprise data lakes.
• Proficient in API-first development using REST and GraphQL, including SSO integration.
• Experience with blue/green deployment pipelines on Azure PaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Sitecore Developer to join our Digital & Technology team. This role will focus on building and maintaining client’s corporate marketing and business sector websites, as well as internal marketing applications using headless technologies like Next.js. The ideal candidate will bring deep Sitecore expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain client’s marketing and business websites using Sitecore XP and modern web technologies.
• Build internal marketing applications and APIs using headless frameworks such as Next.js.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product managers, support engineers, and marketing stakeholders in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.
• Customize Sitecore SXA to support integrations with Marketing Automation tools, Customer Data Platforms, CDNs, Data Lakes, and client’s Ellis AI platform.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications through continuous improvement of code, build, and release pipelines.
• Support hypercare post-rollout and proactively address issues to maintain application stability.
• Lead and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, including brown-bag presentations and technical proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Adhere to client’s Application Compliance Gates and ensure all deliverables meet internal security, accessibility, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the Sitecore XP platform, including Sitecore SXA, Helix architecture, and Scriban templating.
• Strong understanding of Sitecore platform architecture and databases.
• Experience integrating with Coveo, Marketing Automation platforms, CDPs, CDNs, and enterprise data lakes.
• Proficient in API-first development using REST and GraphQL, including SSO integration.
• Experience with blue/green deployment pipelines on Azure PaaS environments.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Sitecore certification is a plus but not mandatory.
