We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer to our Information Systems (IS) team. This role is ideal for an automation-focused senior technologist passionate about Linux, looking to build a career with Canonical and contribute to the success of Ubuntu and open source products. If you have experience in IT operations automation, Infrastructure as Code, and a passion for technology, you'll enjoy working with some of the best in the industry at Canonical.
The IS team supports and maintains all of Canonical's IT production services, serving over 60 million Ubuntu users.
As a Senior SRE & Gitops engineer, you'll drive operations automation in our private and public clouds using open source infrastructure as code software, CI/CD pipelines, and Canonical's automation products. You will also provide feedback to developers to improve product scalability, contribute bug reports or pull requests, and collaborate with other teams. You'll be part of a global team supporting Canonical's services and the Ubuntu community.
