We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer to our Information Systems (IS) team. This role offers an opportunity for an automation-focused senior technologist passionate about Linux to build a career with Canonical and support those leveraging Ubuntu and open source products. If you have experience in IT operations automation, Infrastructure as Code, and a passion for technology, you will thrive working with some of the best industry professionals at Canonical.
The IS team supports and maintains all of Canonical's IT production services, managing services used by over 60 million Ubuntu users.
As a Senior SRE & Gitops engineer, you will drive operations automation in our private and public clouds using open source infrastructure as code tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Canonical's automation products. You will also provide critical feedback to developers by monitoring product performance at scale, submitting bugs, writing pull requests, and collaborating on design and implementation.
You will be part of a global team of SREs supporting services for our company, customers, and the Ubuntu community.
