Job summary

Circle, NYSE: CRCL, is building a scalable, secure internet financial platform with AI-enabled tooling and autonomous coding-agent orchestration. The role focuses on hosting scalable microservices, cloud-native infrastructure, and reliable AI-enabled workflows for rapid development.

You’ll work with Product and Engineering to design resilient systems and maintain high standards for security and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience with modern languages.
• Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS or GCP, including Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Experience engineering and operating production workflow orchestration systems, developer platforms, or autonomous agent solutions.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities via APIs, SDKs, or tooling with proper guardrails (observability, access controls, auditability, monitoring).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, SQL design, and query optimization.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code enabling CD and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable microservices, platform capabilities, and shared libraries.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based services.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and software delivery automation across teams.
• Engineer and operate Circle’s autonomous coding-agent orchestration platform and AI-enabled tooling.
• Implement observability, monitoring, incident response, and best practices for production systems and AI services.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to design resilient architectures and improve platform reliability.
• Continuously improve security, access controls, auditability, and cost optimization across cloud infra and AI workflows.
