Job summary

Drivetrain is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability across a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will lead multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP), drive automation, and champion observability from code to production, ensuring high availability and security.

The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise, Terraform, Python, and a passion for fault-tolerant design.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Deep proficiency in AWS and GCP with multi-cloud architectures.
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment strategies.
Strong programming skills in Python and extensive Terraform experience.
Hands-on observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks.

Responsibilities

Architect, manage, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP).
Lead design, deployment, and management of scalable Kubernetes clusters.
Implement service mesh and security integration (Istio/Linkerd) and enforce RBAC.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform) practices.
Develop automation scripts for maintenance, backups, scaling, and recovery.
Own incident management, SLOs, and blameless postmortems.
