Job summary

Camunda is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and sustain a Kubernetes-based, multi-cloud platform. You will own end-to-end reliability, strengthen monitoring, and drive automation that raises the bar for the team.

You’ll mentor others and work closely with product and engineering to deliver reliable software at scale. Responsibilities include on-call readiness, runbook creation, and cross-functional collaboration to ship features smoothly.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production
• IaC with Terraform or similar
• Monitoring/observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong incident response and on-call experience
• Passion for automation and improving system quality
• Responsible use of AI tools with governance standards

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain our Kubernetes-based multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Build and improve monitoring and alerting to provide real-time visibility.
• Own runbooks and automation; participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with product engineering, PM, and support to deliver impactful features.
• Push automation to reduce repetitive work and improve reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
