Google is seeking a Software Engineer III, Site Reliability Engineering, in a hybrid setup with locations in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina. This senior engineer will drive reliability and performance for large-scale systems, mentoring teammates and contributing across the stack.

The role emphasizes software-driven operations, systems thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to keep services highly available at scale.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
• 2 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems (preferred).

Mansioni

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing impact on systems and operations.
• Participate in design reviews to decide amongst available technologies.
