Job summary

Fortress Information Security, LLC is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid role based in Patuxent River, MD. This individual will ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems by transitioning applications to containerized environments and enhancing CI/CD capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of experience in a SRE/DevOps role and demonstrable skills in Linux administration, AWS services, and deployment technologies. Competitive pay of $160,000 - $180,000 per year is offered.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years hands-on experience in a SRE/DevOps role supporting production systems.
• Production experience supporting Linux-based infrastructure and administering services on AWS and on-premises.
• Demonstrable experience with deployment technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Transition applications from traditional Ansible deployments to containerized deployments in AWS.
• Build upon current CI/CD efforts to support different deployment strategies.
• Support Development/QA/UAT efforts by providing a test environment.
