Innova Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Jersey City, NJ to own reliability across applications and platforms. You will define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and lead incident response, postmortems, and RCA activities.

The role emphasizes observability, automation, and strong collaboration with product teams. The position involves building and maintaining monitoring, AWS infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, with Terraform-based automation.

Qualifications

• SRE experience across multiple applications and platforms.
• AWS cloud expertise and experience.
• Python scripting to automate tasks and tooling.
• Monitoring, observability, and alerting experience.
• Incident management, postmortems and RCA expertise.
• Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD exposure and pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts.
• Ability to work across multiple application teams.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability practices across applications and platforms.
• Define and govern SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for services.
• Lead incident management and postmortems.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Drive toil reduction and automation through scripting.
• Manage and improve AWS/cloud infrastructure reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Perform capacity planning and resiliency testing.
• Partner with application teams to improve reliability and scalability.
• Establish SRE best practices based on Google SRE Handbook.
