JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to shape the future of resiliency in Enterprise technology, engineering services and platform teams.

You will guide a team, drive SRE practices, and mentor engineers across multiple domains, influencing both technical and business outcomes. You will lead resiliency design reviews, break complex problems into actionable work, and provide expert guidance for medium to large products while ensuring security and auditability in production

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on SRE concepts with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in SRE culture and observability, with hands-on telemetry work and SLO-based alerting.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python/Java/.NET) with relevant CMOS processes.
• Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with validation habits.
• Ability to evaluate AI‑driven recommendations for correctness and risk with guardrails.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab) and Terraform automation.
• Strong familiarity with containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) in production.
• Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS/TCP/IP, TLS, load balancing) and debug structurally.
• Collaborative team contributor with knowledge of Kafka and event streaming.

Responsibilities

• Guides others in designing appropriate level designs and gaining peer consensus.
• Designs and implements deployment approaches via CI/CD pipelines.
• Designs, develops, tests, and implements reliable, scalable solutions.
• Implements infrastructure and network as code for applications and platforms.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
• Uses SLIs/SLAs to proactively resolve issues before customer impact.
• Supports adoption of SRE best practices within the team.
• Provides 24x7 production support for business-critical apps.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, validation, and post-incident analysis.
• Leads reuse of AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC.
