Job summary

Nidec Drives is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead on-site execution of major construction, installation and commissioning programs. You will manage site teams, schedules, budgets, safety programs, and customer expectations.

You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure compliance with standards and deliver high-quality results while driving safety and cost performance on Greenfield and modernization projects. Travel up to 75-100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of project management/construction leadership in industrial settings.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with safety, cost performance, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for large-scale industrial projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Direct site activities, manage subcontractors, budgets, and schedules.
• Champion zero-incident safety culture and OSHA/regulatory compliance.
• Monitor costs, forecast, and manage changes and claims.
• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and leadership; report progress.
• Ensure quality and commissioning deliverables meet specs.
• Mentor project managers and site supervisors; foster teamwork.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 75-100%.
