Job summary

Elanco in Fort Dodge, IA, is hiring a Senior Site IT Engineer - Manufacturing to be the on-site IT partner for the Fort Dodge manufacturing site, supporting manufacturing, labs, and business operations. You will ensure reliable, secure IT infrastructure and partner with OT stakeholders to implement technology solutions.

Lead local IT projects, maintaining validation and change control in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• 2+ years of IT project management experience with senior stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across infrastructure, apps, and IT/OT environments.
• Experience with IT service management processes and tools (incident, change, asset, lifecycle).
• Knowledge of manufacturing-related computer systems, HMI, PLCs, data flows, and CSV/CAPA practices (preferred).

• Ensure reliability, availability, and security of site IT systems supporting manufacturing and lab operations.
• Serve as on-site IT contact for site leadership and liaise with regional/global IT teams and vendors.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver IT solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly while ensuring compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide local support for enterprise applications and manage site-specific systems, including validation and change control.
• Lead multiple IT projects with scope definition, risk management, and status updates.
