Amazon in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with the site operations team. You will execute WHS policies, manage risk, and lead a team to ensure a safe, healthful environment for associates across the designated site.
You will influence cross-functional leaders, develop leadership pipelines, and drive continuous improvement using lean methods and Kaizen events.

In this position, you will be responsible for partnering with the site level operations team for your designated site in order to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in Amazon’s processes and ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates.
In this role, you must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the cross‑functional operations teams, influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, instruct and train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies, develop a team of safety managers and safety professionals at your designated site, create and execute leadership development plans for your larger team, and assess safety talent to select appropriate bench strength for current and future business needs.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
