Job summary

Horrocks Engineers is seeking a Professional Engineer/Project Manager for Site Development in Utah. You will oversee a range of civil design projects from start to finish, lead client communications, manage budgets, and ensure quality deliverables using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, PE licensure or ability to obtain within a year, and 15–20 years of progressive design experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain PE within one year.
• 15-20 years of progressive experience with civil design including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.
• Self-directed with strong project management and project delivery skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, bid projects, and develop project execution plans and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Development of project work plans and scopes of work.
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
• Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare roadway, drainage, and utility plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Produce technical reports, memos, and design deliverables.
• Quality assurance for project deliverables.
• Construction cost estimation and EPC considerations.
• Client communication and multi-disciplinary coordination.
