Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Professional Engineer/Project Manager for Site Development in Pleasant Grove, UT. You will own projects from start to finish, overseeing scope, budgets, and multi-disciplinary delivery for private and municipal clients.

Responsibilities include creating work plans, schedules, fee proposals, and design deliverables using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, while ensuring QA and strong client relations across teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain PE within one year.
• 15-20 years of progressive civil design experience including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work.
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
• Prepare fee proposals and track and manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports.
• Administer quality assurance for project deliverables.
• Prepare construction cost models and engineer opinions of probable cost for projects through development stages.
• Manage and design development and redevelopment projects for private clients.
• Coordinate with Horrocks practice leaders on multi-disciplinary project pursuits.
• Maintain effective communications with clients and project teams.
