Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a senior Site Design Project Manager in the Cleveland area to lead a team of engineers and designers on mixed-use and municipal projects. You will oversee infrastructure design, cost estimation, QA/QC, and construction administration while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients and agencies.

You will apply Civil 3D, HydraCAD, and AutoTURN skills to develop efficient site design solutions, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or better in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Site Design Engineering or Municipal Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License in Ohio or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Design experience with grading, water mainline, sanitary sewer, roadways, storm sewer, green infrastructure, and stormwater management.
• Able to collaborate as a team member with internal and external partners.
• Passionate about the community and profession; eager to learn, mentor, and grow within the organization.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive, able to prioritize and meet deadlines, and manage work completion.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, HydroCAD, MS Office.
• Experience with Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio or Pennsylvania communities is a plus.
• Minimal local travel to project locations and occasional travel to regional office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Lead design and delivery of civil site projects using AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hydraflow, AutoTURN.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and work plan; coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, and local jurisdictions.
• Support bidding and award process, answer RFIs during construction, conduct site visits, and attend progress meetings.
• Perform quality control of design plans, budgets, construction documents, and other client deliverables.
• Present work to teams, clients, or communities clearly and concisely.
• Oversee and direct project production staff to prepare site design plans (grading, utilities, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, construction details).
• Supervise engineering team on multiple projects with resource management and technical reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training/oversight.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Business Development to support proposals and presentations.
• Minimal local travel; occasional travel to regional office.
