Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of MS SQL database administration.
• 2+ years with AcQuire software (GUI).
• Extensive experience with query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL Server High Availability, Log Shipping and Replication.
• Experience in scripting.
• Strong communication and writing skills to manage stakeholder relationships in a challenging & high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, design, and maintain database system software and implement database security.
• Coordinate with IT and database administrators in Azure application design, function and deployment.
• Data validation from numerous 3rd parties against in-house data.
• Incorporating in-house and 3rd party data into a standardized company format.
• Managing user rights and logging usage with communication to managers.
• Reporting of basic metrics associated with data imports and validations.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and queries with development teams.
• Develop, implement, and test database backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Document site database policies, procedures, and standards aligned with i80 standards.
• Provide technical guidance on database implementations and deployments.
• Troubleshoot performance issues independently or with other DBAs.
• Manage technology projects from initiation to completion.
• Participate in continuous business process redesign to improve operations.
