Job summary

ATCS is seeking a Site/Civil (Land Development) Engineer for a hybrid role based in Newport News, VA or Virginia Beach. The successful candidate will design diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development, while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and Virginia P.E. license, with 5–10+ years of land development experience. Proficiency in Civil 3D and state/local processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering is required.
• P.E. registration in Virginia is required.
• 5–10+ years of land development design experience with Virginia clients/projects.
• Self-starter eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in civil design including stormwater, utilities, paving, roadway design, and grading.
• Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Familiar with state and municipal design and development processes.
• Ability to interact effectively with municipal approval authorities.
