Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager III to lead entitlement, pre-construction decisions, and end-to-end site acquisition activities.

You will mentor teams, manage real estate, zoning, and permitting processes, and drive strategy for deployment across markets. The role requires 8–10 years in telecommunications site acquisition, strong negotiation capabilities, and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of telecommunications site acquisition experience.
• Proven track record with Master Lease Agreements (MLA) and tower companies.
• Strong contract review and negotiation skills.
• Deep knowledge of real estate practices, permitting, and LTE network design fundamentals.
• Experience managing budgets with P&L responsibility.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Advise on long- and short-term site acquisition strategies across markets, regions, and disciplines.
• Provide level-of-effort estimates during pre-sales and early project phases for budget development
• Lead weekly deployment calls and deliver detailed site status reports to customers and project teams
• Manage leasing, landlord consent, zoning, and permitting activities end-to-end
• Oversee architecture and engineering firms in producing lease exhibits and drawings
• Obtain regulatory approvals (NEPA, SHPO, Phase 1) and manage Notice to Proceed
• Identify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies to Project Manager and customer
• Assess service provider performance and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records in databases and ensure audit compliance
