Job summary

Viasat is seeking a System Administrator for classified systems to deliver technical support for the Corporate ISSM. The role focuses on SIPRNET administration, system security, and ongoing compliance across stand-alone and networked classified environments.

The candidate should have DoD RMF experience, a Secret clearance, and strong collaboration skills to work with ISSM, DevOps, and government entities while maintaining robust documentation and asset management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field; equivalent work experience considered.

Responsibilities

Establish and sustain the ATO/ATC for SIPRNet connections per 32 CFR Part 117.18 and DISN CPG.
Perform configuration management and system maintenance, account management, etc.
Maintain records of HW/SW revisions and ensure actions are documented.
Participate in continuous monitoring, analysis, and incident response activities.
Participate in security audits/assessments to ensure SIPRNet infrastructure meets standards.
Conduct site CCRI/CORA self-assessments for all SIPRNet sites.
Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per governing guidance and customer directives.
Provide input to DevOps to enhance operational efficiencies, and minimize security risks.
Guide or mentor team members to support continuity of operations.
