Advocate Health Navicent in Macon, GA seeks a Master’s prepared nurse to lead simulation education as educator, clinical expert, and innovator. The role supports simulation across the organization, partnering with clinicians and educators to advance evidence‑based practice.

The position requires RN licensure in Georgia, a Master's in nursing or related field, and teaching experience, with certification in simulation preferred and training expected within two years.

Qualifications

• Master's in nursing, Nursing Education or Health Care Administration required.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Minimum three years clinical experience as an RN.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum and program development, program evaluation, self-learning modules.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AV equipment.
• Simulation certification preferred and must be achieved within two years of hire.
• Life Support Instructor Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a systematic education plan for simulation implementation and evaluates programs.
• Synthesizes literature to design educational interventions for learners.
• Provides educational consultation across the continuum of simulation education.
• Assesses learning styles and creates education programs based on needs.
• Conducts needs assessments and analyzes data to guide priorities.
• Coaches and mentors educators and staff in curriculum development and evaluation.
• Develops simulation education effectiveness measures and outcomes.
• Participates in selecting facilitators and content experts.
