Job summary

Waabi, a leader in Physical AI, is seeking researchers and engineers to architect asset pipelines for a world-class multi-sensor simulation stack. You will design end-to-end asset workflows, from raw sensor logs to simulation-ready representations such as 3DGS, NeRF, and mesh, and will define storage schemas for a heterogeneous asset library.

You will integrate cutting-edge reconstruction and generative techniques with autonomy and safety teams to support training and evaluation at scale.

Qualifications

• Shipping production software at scale with reliable, maintained code.
• Built or extended large-scale 3D content pipelines (ingestion, processing, validation, versioning, serving).
• Fluent across 3D representations (mesh, PBR, OpenUSD, NeRF, etc.).
• Experience designing cloud GPU jobs, orchestration, and cost modeling.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and at least one native language (C++ or Rust).

Responsibilities

• Be part of a multidisciplinary team building a multi-sensor simulation stack.
• Architect and own asset pipelines end-to-end from raw logs to simulation-ready representations.
• Design schemas and storage for heterogeneous asset libraries.
• Build tooling and visualization for large-scale asset inspection and comparison.
• Collaborate with research teams to productionize latest reconstruction and generative techniques.
• Work with autonomy and safety teams to meet training and evaluation needs.
