A technology solutions provider is looking for a Silicon Design Engineer to work on circuit simulations and behavioral modeling. The role requires strong scripting skills in TCL, Python, and Shell as well as knowledge in circuit design for High Speed IOs. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. This contract position located in Boxborough, MA, offers a base pay range of $45.00/hr - $49.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience with circuit simulation using hspice/spectre.
• Proficient in circuit behavioral modeling with systemVerilog including Real Number Modeling.
• Knowledge in data manipulation and analysis with TCL and Python.
• Familiar with transistor level circuit analysis.
• Experience with Linux Command Line Interface.
• Familiar with Revision Control Systems (Perforce preferred).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run spice simulations for circuits including Transmitter, Receiver, DLL, DAC, OpAmp.
• Write behavioral models of circuit characteristics in systemVerilog.
• Work on tools and document best methods.
• Participate in defining development flows to improve quality and efficiency.
